Google Wonder Wheel

This week I have stumbled upon a new Google feature that I believe has a significant impact on me (established in May 2009). The tools is called the Google Wonder Wheel. It can be accessed on any Google search by clicking on “show options” which is located above the first search result.

It allows you to see something similar to a mind map of the search results. You can see what Google believes are the closest related terms to your query. It also shows the SERPs on the right hand side.

Google Wonder Wheel allows the user to click on other search phrases which in turn brings up another set of results.

Keyword research just became a whole lot easier. This tool has limitless possibilities. It can be used as the following:

  • Keyword research tool
  • Market research
  • Niche exploration

I’m sure plenty of clever people will think of some more uses, that’s just what I came up with off the top of my head. Here is a post on the Google Wonder Wheel

Google Wonder Wheel

Important
You can also find related search to your desired query. Instead of clicking on Wonder Wheel you can just click on related searches and they all come up.

The tool really is self explanatory. Give it a go and tell me what you think. I hope you like it!
